How can we help?

Short answers first. If none of them fit, a person reads every message we get.

Common questions

No. Nobody is notified, contacted or shown your search. Lookups run against records that are already public, so there is nothing to alert.
Every line shows where it came from and how many sources agreed on it. Treat a report as a set of leads, not proof: public records go stale, people share names, and an old address can outlive the person who lived there.
Some numbers and addresses leave almost no public trace. That usually means they are new, private, or simply not tied to public records. We show you which sources were checked either way, so you can see the search really ran.
No. DetectiveCheck is not a consumer reporting agency, and reports cannot be used for hiring, tenant screening, credit, insurance or anything else the Fair Credit Reporting Act governs. Accounts that do it are closed.
Send us the identifier you want suppressed and we remove it free of charge, wherever you live. You do not need an account, and we never charge for a removal.
Yes. Only a short prefix of the password’s hash leaves your device, and the password cannot be reconstructed from it. The password itself is never sent, stored or written to a log.
Your reports stay readable until the end of the period you paid for. After that the account closes and everything in it is deleted. Export first if you want to keep anything.
No. We do not sell or share personal information as those words are defined under California law, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals automatically.

Nothing matched that. Try fewer words, or ask us directly.
