DetectiveCheck only reaches information that is already publicly available. It is not a consumer reporting agency, and its reports cannot be used for hiring, tenant screening, credit, insurance or any other purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Using it to stalk, harass or intimidate anyone is prohibited and gets the account closed.
It depends on what is public about that person. A typical phone report includes a name, a general location, the carrier, linked email addresses, social profiles and any data breach the number turned up in. Every line shows where it came from.
Some numbers and addresses leave almost no public trace, and the report will say so instead of padding itself out. An empty result still uses one lookup, so we show you exactly what was checked and why it came back thin.
